I am now a Sonoma State Graduate
Sonoma State 2010 Graduation
Thank You Sonoma State for educating me for the past 2 years. I had a great time living in Rohnert Park with a 10 minute commute(20 minute bike ride.) I had a easy time adapting over the years. Napa JC was just like SSU in many aspects from demography to landscape. I really liked the business classes that I took! It all started with Professor Campbell‘s Intro to Marketing class. That got me hooked after I initially declared a Finance concentration. This is what I remember from each of my business teachers:
- Prof. Hu – Saying “bongs” instead of bonds. Corporate Finance was challenging, but easy if you knew how to work the business calculator.
- Prof. Atkins – That darn GOAL book! I remember getting side tracked all the time.
- Prof. Campbell – He would always talk about sports and give some great marketing examples.
- Prof. Thatch – I remember making a presentation and sitting in a circle. haha
- Prof. Olsen – My professor from Vallejo! The marketing management class was my hardest marketing class. It basically went over all the details in marketing.
- Prof. Horowitz – I soaked in the most information about online marketing and using social media as a link to consumers. This was the type of marketing I was waiting for! I finally get to use some HTML skills with building WordPress. I still have not caught up on CSS and jQuery. I still plan on following his class in the years to come.
