A Tuesday full of WordPress
For the past couple weeks, I have been trying to figure out the basics of WordPress. Certain files cater to different parts of the page with addition to CSS code. One of the helpful firefox add-on that was recommended by my marketing prof is Firebug. It helps you figure out where the code of a certain part of the site is located. Try it for yourself!

The FTP client that I have been using is Filezilla. So far so good! It is very simple to use and the interface is straight-forward. The left side is the local(my computer) area. The right side consist of your server space. You just upload and download back and fourth to get your files. TextWrangler is also a good addition to using Filezilla. I really wanted to work with Coda, but as a student on a limited budget, I can not afford it.
There are tons of free themes out there on the web. I was directed to WPdaddy by a fellow classmate. They have a lot of good looking themes. I just have had trouble with the theme editing page. It would not let me save the setting. Now I have been working editing the coding to customize the page. I will keep you updated on future work.
